A busy fall in Western NY

Monday, October 31, 2016
We hope everyone enjoyed the hot Summer we had this year and hopefully we have the same Fall and Winter we experienced last year, for those of you who like to ski and snow mobile, probably not so much.  For the hunters out there good luck in the woods.
It has been an incredibly busy last few months for both of our Locals, with negotiations and the ratification process for 2154 and the ongoing negotiations at 2199.  Additionally we had our International Convention, Inter Union Gas Conference and Third District Utility Workshop all in the last two months.  Special thanks to our respective Executive Boards and Stewards for stepping up during this hectic time period and keeping everything running smoothly.
For those of you employed by National Fuel and looking to make changes to your healthcare plan or employee spending account, packets should have been delivered to your homes.  If you wish to make changes, make sure your forms are received by Human Resources (Main Office) no later then November 16.  If you miss the deadline you can not make changes until next year.

In case you don't own a TV, radio or aren't on any form of social media there is an important election coming up this November 8.  Make sure you get out and vote and let your union voice be heard! The AFL-CIO has made endorsements in a number of races.  Click here for New York and here for Pennsylvania.
