Vote for union values

As was mentioned earlier, we have an important election coming up on November 8 and we need to get people elected from the White House on down who have hard working people, like ourselves, in mind.  My job isn't to tell you how to vote, I believe it is to inform you which candidates stand with Labor and then you can decide which way to cast your ballot. I've said this before and I'll continue to say it, I prioritize my life and that is how I make the determination on how I am going to vote. Unless the person that looks back at you every morning in the mirror is running for an elected office, you are not going to find a candidate that has all of your same exact beliefs. The most important thing in my life is my family, if I want to support my family I need a job, period. That's how I vote!  Do I have opinions on hot topic issues, you better believe it.  But am I going to vote against a candidate who wants to pass legislation to help us, the working class and Unions, of this already great country, because they may have a different opinion then my own on Abortion, back round checks for gun owners, or LGBTQ rights?  This doesn't make sense to me, I will vote them in office and make every attempt to get them to see my point of view on the social issues.  I know there are some out there who disagree with me, and that's OK, that is what our democracy is all about.  We are so spread out I couldn't possibly keep up on all of the upcoming races, even though I try, see above for the full list of all AFL-CIO endorsed candidates in both NY & PA.  What I can tell you is the IBEW has endorsed Hillary Clinton to be our next President of the United States and that is certainly how I will be voting this upcoming November 8. At our International Convention in September one quote in particular stuck with me, it went something along the lines of this.  If you dump a couple truckloads of manure in one spot it will kill everything underneath it, if you spread it around the field everything grows. I truly believe Hillary Clinton, is by far, America's working class best shot at shared prosperity and the best thing for my family. Thank you and have a great day!-Eric
