Duane is employed by National Fuel. He has a wife, Jonelle and two sons. His son Wayne is currently attending college at Fredonia State and Trent attends Forestville Central School and is graduating this year.
The family was on their way to the Taladaga Race when Duane suffered a severe stroke. He is currently in Lexington, Kentucky at a critical care unit and needs to be transferred to a facility in Erie Pa. The insurance will not pay for the flight to Erie as the cost to fly him is $30,000. He is paralyzed on one side and has a very long road to recovery.

Duane is an active member of the Hanover Little League, Forestville Sports Boosters and the Fireman’s Club in Silver Creek.

Benefit will be held at the Silver Creek Fireman’s Association, 23 Jackson St Silver Creek NY on June 25th from 1-6pm. Tickets are $10 and includes live music, dinner (roast beef or pulled pork, roasted potatoes, tossed salad, dessert, pop and draft beer). There will also be Chinese auctions & 50/50’s.

A bank account is being set up at Community Bank in Silver Creek, as friends of Duane Hartloff.
Donations would be greatly appreciated.

Chinese Auction items can be dropped off at Daily and Ellias store in Smith Mills Monday-Saturday 7am to 5pm or Silver Creek Fireman’s Association Monday-Friday 3:30 to close or Saturday and Sunday 12 to close.
